Help Secure Vital Vet Equipment

Image description

Donate today to help replace a vital piece of medical equipment for Perth Zoo veterinary hospital.

Rescues occur in many places. Occasionally, they even occur at the Zoo itself when we treat an animal with a life-threatening rare disease or infection.

Here at the Zoo, an ultrasound is not only used for diagnosing and treating rare diseases. It’s versatile enough to use in health checks for all the animals in our care.

We use ultrasound to assess wild black cockatoos who have been brought to our hospital after being hit by cars. We’ve also used it to detect foreign bodies, like fishing hooks inside rescued sea turtles.

Your generosity today can help purchase this vital piece of equipment to rescue, treat and care for all creatures great and small.

Thank you for helping Perth Zoo purchase a specialised ultrasound machine engineered specifically for use in a vet hospital like ours.

If you would like to be included in the public digital honour roll at perthzoo.com.au/vetappeal, please let us know in the order notes at checkout.
